CARDIOLOGY PHYSICIAN -INVASIVE, NON-INTERVENTIONAL

Location: Florida

Board certified (no DO's) to join six other cardiologists in a group of 98 physicians. Call 1/7. Work 5 days/wk with 20 to 30 patients per day in the office, plus 5 to 10 in the hospital (within walking distance) offers regional Cardiac Institute with two groups of cardiac surgeons performing over one thousand open-heart procedures every year. Over 5k procedures a year performed in the cath lab.

This is a clinical position for an invasive, non-interventional cardiologist. Procedures required are catheterizations, temporary pacemaker placement, diagnostic cardiology catheterization, peripheral angiography. Nuclear medicine license a plus but not necessary. Not looking for an MD that wants to place stents, do EP studies and PTCA's. Productivity-based bonus formula for all physicians; base salary (negotiable) plus bonus first two years; then partnership. Taking over a lucrative practice.
Bonuses are paid quarterly. Health Insurance. Retirement (Participates after 1 year, Vested 20% each year)
Profit Sharing. Paid Vacation (4 weeks). CME-Time as needed $ Amount: Advanced. Malpractice Insurance $ Amount: 500k/1.5M. Professional Dues are advanced. Life Insurance $ Value: 200k. Dental. Paid Relocation allowance paid advanced. Paid Interview Expenses
