Position # FP-LA-JR2 Family Practice Physician * 2 Location: Louisiana, Southern A hospital in Southern Louisiana is recruiting for two Family Practitioners.
Practice options include joining an existing group or beginning a new solo practice. The medical center is a 168 bed, JCAHO accredited acute care hospital serving the city and surrounding communities. This community is located 90 miles west of New Orleans & 75 minutes east of Lafayette, LA and sits on the banks of the Atchafalaya River. The hospital offers an extensive list of services including 24-hour emergency care, ambulatory care unit, cardiac cath lab, cardiopulmonary EKG, echocardiography & holter monitoring, endoscopy, full service laboratory, general surgery, home health, inpatient behavioral health, maternal child health, medical/surgical ICU, occupational & speech therapy, pharmacy, inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation services, skilled nursing unit, mammography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, bone densitometer, mobile MRI and CT. In addition a comprehensive network of paramedic-level ambulance service is available, including helicopter and fixed wing services. The hospital provides a turn-key practice establishment and relocation package, which includes medical education debt repayment assistance, a $2,000 per month stipend during your final year of training and much more!
