Gynecological Oncology Physician

DIRECTOR AND ASSOCIATE

We have been engaged by a major Northeast teaching hospital to identify appropriate candidates to contend for the above captioned positions. The Directorship is a full-time hospital position that offers academic appointment at two medical schools. The physician will cover their own patients, have 20 OB/Gyn residents around (with two always assigned to the gyn oncology service) and the requisite staff and programs including gyn onc nursing staff, etc. The hospital has the greatest number of OR's within the New England region.

This nonprofit, teaching hospital treats approximately 39,000 inpatients and 176,000 ambulatory patients annually. It has a major affiliation with a University Health Center in graduate medical education. It conducts clinical educational programs for third and fourth year medical students and programs in graduate medical education at the residency and fellowship levels. Both full and part time medical staff support the hospital's educational programs.

The ideal candidate will be a board eligible/certified OB/GYN with solid training or subspecialty in gynecologic oncology with an interest in building the gyn oncology service. At present, there is one other Gyn Oncologist in the department.

This appointment will provide a tailored a compensation and extensive benefit arrangement to fit the requirements of the appropriate physician. Relocation, interview and all expenses related to finding appropriate housing will be extended.
