Position # GYN-PA-JR Gynecology Physician Location: Pennsylvania, Central A Pennsylvania hospital is recruiting for a Gynecologist to begin new solo practice. GYN services only - NO OB. Hospital desires to bring GYN services to this community, which presently has none available. The Medical Center is a 126-bed, JACHO-accredited acute care facility serving the town and multiple surrounding communities. The service area population is 60,000. Hospital services include medical/surgical/ICU, physical therapy, 24-hour emergency room, laboratory, MRI and radiology; including CT, ultrasound, nuclear, and mammography. The town has a population of 5,000, located 60 miles from Harrisburg. Schuylkill County, nestled in the mountains of eastern Pennsylvania, is considered part of the ridge and valley section of the Appalachian Mountains.
