Position # HEM-ONC-NH-JR Hematology Oncology Physician Location: New Hampshire, Southern
Board Eligible or Board Certified Hematology / Oncology Physician. To join the clinical practice of a major medical school in southern New Hampshire. 1 physician and 1 nurse practitioner. (Goal is to have 3 physicians in group) 85% clinical, 10% research and 5 % teaching at the major medical school with appointment. 4 days in outpatient Oncology at hospital, and 1 day pursuing academic and research goals at Dartmouth.
Cases: Oncology/Hematology diagnose and treat patients age 17 and over, who have cancer or blood abnormalities, in addition, services include the provision of chemotherapy, intravenous hydration therapy, therapeutic phlebotomy, intramuscular injections and bone marrow biopsies. Our staff will also coordinate radiation therapy, surgery and consultation a appropriate. Clinical trials are available. Oncology Clinic: Currently under construction. 6,000 square foot clinic, 3 MD offices with 4 exam rooms a large procedure room a sick room 9 chairs and a patient nutrition area. Social service (part time) and dietician services provided. Center for Cancer Care office hours are offered on an appointment basis, 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday. The Academic Center is one of a select group of National Cancer Institutes to be awarded the designation "Comprehensive". Benefits: Full Benefits offered. Salary will be based on experience. Hospital 88 Bed Acute Care Hospital with HEM/ONC Services. Affiliated with a Major Medical School. 24 Hour Emergency Room & Ambulance Services. Women & Children's Health Unit (Including Birth Care), Surgical Services (Both Day-Surgery and Traditional Surgery). Medical Surgical Unit, Telemetry Unit and Intensive Care Unit Radiology, Including vascular lab, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, CT Scanner, mobile MRI and PET Scanner, Cardiac Catheterization & Interventional Radiology, Sleep Lab and Laboratory Services. Cardiovascular Services, Respiratory Care, including full pulmonary diagnostic laboratory. Rehabilitation services, including physician, occupational and speech therapy, and pulmonary and cardiac rehab. Diabetes Services, Urology Outpatient Services, Pharmacy, Food & Nutrition Services and Social Services. Also, Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, Geriatric Psychiatry Day Hospital, Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Services and Memory Training Clinics Over 250 Physician representing 39 Specialties. The AREA: Sea Coast Region, 20 minutes from the coast. Just over an hour to Boston; Short drive to lakes and mountains. 30k population. Service area of 75000 100000.
