Hospitalist Physician Job

Location: Massachusetts, Western

A Medical Center is seeking a physician to join its Community Hospital Medicine Program, a well-established program of high quality care serving inpatients of physicians of the region. The ideal candidate has good organizational, communication, and team skills and is committed to a career in hospitalist medicine and a practice of clinical excellence and continuing performance improvement.

Candidates must be experienced hospitalists and ABIM certified.

The Medical Center, recently named on of America’s 100 best hospitals, is the Health System’s flagship hospital and the Western Campus of a reputable Academic Institution. It has over 600 beds and residency and fellowship programs in medicine, surgery, anesthesiology, radiology, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, emergency medicine and pathology.

The area offers warm, friendly New England communities to live in, beautiful countryside, great private and public schools, antique stores and artisan galleries. A few miles south is the vibrant arts and college community of Northampton, voted #1 small arts town in the country, and the hub of a rich network of academic institutions including the University of Massachusetts and Amherst, Smith, Hampshire, and Mount Holyoke Colleges. The area is convenient to coastal New England, Vermont and New Hampshire skiing, and metropolitan Boston and New York.
