Hospitalists Physician

Location:    New York, Northwest

Description: Currently, we have one internist based in the primary care practice who provides hospitalist coverage at the Medical Center from Monday - Friday, 9am - 7pm. The physician also participates equitably in the After-hours / Emergency call rotation. We are seeking a second internist to expand hospitalist coverage to seven days a week

Surveys conducted consistently rank this Medical Center well above the national norm for patient satisfaction with professional nursing care whether provided on an emergency, inpatient or outpatient basis. The medical center takes pride in offering patients and families clinical care of high quality, supported by state-of the art clinical data systems. 



Employment positions are available throughout our system, made up of the main tertiary care center, physician practices and clinic locations, and most recently, satellite centers for specialized care. The medical center is presently developing a senior living center including Alzheimer's and assisted living facilities, to enhance our ability to offer care for every life stage. Presently, their are 1400 employees, including more than 400 registered nursing professionals, join some 200 physicians to provide healthcare services to a diverse population residing in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of upstate New York and the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania
