Position # HOSP-TN-JR Hospitalists Physician Location: Cookeville, Tennessee
Board Certified/Board Eligible Internist is being sought to join two other Hospitalists in Cookeville, TN in an employed position and the financial package includes a salary of $140,000 with potential for a $15,000 bonus. 12 hour shifts, 2 weeks working with 1 week off. No more than 20 patients per shift! Full benefits for physician including health insurance, disability insurance, malpractice, 401k, CME time off with allowance of 2500. Discounted health insurance for the family.
Facility A 247-bed community-owned regional referral center offering a broad range of services which include open heart, vascular, neuro, and oncology. The hospital is currently underway with a $22 million expansion program. Our Hospitalist program is well received and is highly used by this busy medical community. Since its start in early 2002, we have added 2 additional FT Hospitalists with plans for more. Cookeville (part of the area known as "The Upper Cumberland") is centrally located at the intersection of Interstate 40 and Highway 111 at the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains; Cookeville is 80 miles east of Nashville, 100 miles from Knoxville, and 90 miles from Chattanooga.
