Position # IM-FP-NY-JR4 Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician with HIV/AIDS Training Location: New York, Metro Area Community Health Center in Manhattan needs Board Certified Internist or Family Practitioner who has training in HIV/AIDS. AIDS Institute Certification a MUST! Physician does not have to be fellowship trained in Infectious Disease.
Candidate will serve as Physician-In-Charge of a unit having 1-2 Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner (All providers will have AIDS/HIV experience) under his/her jurisdiction. Will have mostly clinical but some administrative responsibilities. Strictly Outpatient work. The center offers a full range of Medical/preventative, complementary and social services for an active caseload of over 11,000 patients. Primary & specialty medical services include adult and pediatric care, audiology, cardiology, ophthalmology, podiatry, obstetrics/gynecology, prenatal education and internal medicine. Comprehensive HIV/AIDS care includes non-invasive testing, counseling, confidential medical care, support groups, targeted nutritional support and access to a roster of alternative treatments promoting immune system functioning and treatment success Excellent compensation package.
