Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

Location:    Michigan

Three board-certified obstetrician/gynecologists are recruiting a fourth due to the growth of their highly successful practice and to provide for succession.  Their new office suite is located in the Medical Office Building adjoining the Hospital.  Staff includes one RN and two LPN's and can be expanded as needed to accommodate the new doctor.  In-office procedures include colposcopy, LEEP, CRYO, ultrasound, non-stress tests and urodynamics.  The group delivers 36-42 babies per month and each doctor performs 4-6 major and 6-8 minor surgeries per month.  An average of 30-35 patients are seen per doctor in a full day.

Qualified candidates will be residency trained and BC or BE with the intention of becoming board certified.  The candidate will share the partners' philosophy to provide compassionate care to all patients, including Medicaid and underserved populations.  HE/She will be expected to strive for partnership and be committed to the long-term success of the practice.

Initial compensation is targeted about 200k and can be adjusted for experience.  Each physician's revenue is separate, from which are deducted an equal share of office expenses and benefits, CME, vacation and malpractice as selected by the individual doctor.  Partnership can be available after two years with buy-in based on a share of depreciated capital assets.
