Position # SUR-GA-JR Thoracic / Vascular Surgeon Physician Location: Georgia
Thoracic / vascular surgeon needed. Will not be able to do interventional work yet. However, candidate will develop a basic thoracic and full vascular program. No one else for 90 miles! For a not-for-profit hospital currently undergoing expansion. A significant amount of new construction (cath lab, surgery suites opened in 2001 that has already been outgrown, a new emergency room and a new department of radiology). They are breaking ground for an expansion of the surgery department as well as a projected 70,000 square feet of additional expansion at the hospital.
