General Surgery Physician

Location:    North Carolina, Charlotte suburbs 

We are seeking two full time BC/BE general and trauma surgeons to replace a former community-based multi-specialty surgical practice with a new practice. The successful applicant will be offered the pictured office space located ½ mile from the hospital. This office space was previously occupied by a surgical group, consisting of a husband and wife surgical team, who have chosen to pursue different personal and professional opportunities. This former surgical group has provided surgical services to the hospital for over six years, offering a new two- person surgical group an established patient base. 

The hospital is a non-profit 101-bed hospital offering concentrated and comprehensive healthcare, specialty medicine, diagnostic services, digital imaging, onsite laboratory services, and state-of-the-art technology. The hospital is associated with Carolinas Medical Center, the region 's premier healthcare provider, with access to all tertiary services. The hospitals OR and Outpatient Surgical units have enjoyed recent renovations, offering surgeons an ideal surgical work environment. The ideal candidate will have an equal mix of experience in both trauma and general surgical cases and have the desire to begin a new surgical practice, living and working in a growing Southern community. All applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible and have experience and training in the United States. It is a community of over 60,000 with excellent public schools, historical and cultural offerings, hometown traditions, low crime indexes, and an abundance of academic institutions, it is the ultimate site for one interested in providing quality healthcare in a growing community. The county is ideally situated within an hours drive north of the largest mountain regions of North Carolina or its largest metropolis of Charlotte.
