Vascular Surgeon opportunity with independent vascular group in Tyler, Texas. Seeking one surgeon to join a three man group. General and vascular fellowship, no FMG’s. 100% vascular access.

The Health System is a Not For Profit regional healthcare system that began in 1951 with the vision of bringing high quality medical service to where east Texas needed it most, close to home. They system has grown to more than 11 hospitals, 40 clinics, 3 helicopters, numerous outpatient rehabilitation centers, 24 hour emergency centers, home health offices and other regional partnerships. This is also the second largest rural EMS provider in the Nation and home to the first and only Level 1 Trauma Center in East Texas.

Outdoor Activities
For the Outdoor enthusiast numerous freshwater lakes provide fishing and boating outlets. Even scuba diving opportunities are found nearby. Outdoor festivals are regularly scheduled throughout Eastern Texas from the Jamboree in Gilmer to Tomato Fest and host of others in between. Their is a rose festival that will dazzle the eyes during the spring months.
Cultural opportunities
For those who enjoy theater and museums, East Texas communities have much to offer. A host of community and university theater programs and more are available. In Tyler, the University of Texas at Tyler's Cowan Center hosts a Broadway Series each year which brings in professional musicals and dramas. Each summer the Texas Shakespeare Festival is conducted in Kilgore and provides not only Shakespearean revivals but also other top-quality productions. Museums including the Discovery Science Museum, the Smith County Historical Museum and others are located throughout the region. Many historical sites are waiting to be explored, and the Caldwell Zoo in Tyler features big cats and other fascinating animals from North and South America and Africa. For music enthusiasts the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame can be found in Carthage.
Major Cities
Dallas, located 90 miles from Tyler, offers many fine restaurants, access to shopping, theater and other activities. Also about 90 miles from Tyler is Shreveport, Louisiana with more museums, art galleries and restaurants.
Education
Colleges and universities are also located across the East Texas area. Tyler includes both UT Tyler and Tyler Junior College.
